Can I watch the demos without an account?
Yes. The preset demo works without an account. Use Account to sign in at account.usetypein.com. Signing in does not turn on task-history sharing.
Where can I download the macOS app?
Use Download on this website. Typein for Mac needs a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 26 or later. You can also watch the preset demo first.
Can a preset demo type into Word or another app?
No. It runs only inside this website. Live Typing into Microsoft Word, Pages and TextEdit documents is part of the macOS app and needs the appropriate permissions.
Why did playback pause when I switched tabs?
The player automatically pauses when the page is hidden. Return to Typein and press Resume to continue from where you left off.
Can I enter my own text?
No. The marketing website plays prepared samples only; it does not accept or process custom text. Your interface language preference is remembered in this browser. Account sign-in uses a separate secure session at account.usetypein.com.
Can I buy a subscription now?
Direct website checkout is not open yet. Codes for plans and word packs are sold on Goofish: redeem the code in your Typein web account, then sign in to the Mac app with the same account. The Pricing page lists each plan's device limit, offline use and word-counting rules. No payment details are collected by this website.
Why does the demo change a word and then change it back?
The recorded examples include staged mistakes and temporary word changes, then restore the prepared sample. They are fixed demonstrations, not trained personal profiles.
